Beth Holden is a partner at Anthony Gold. She specialises in commercial and civil litigation.
Beth’s practice includes claims in professional negligence, breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duties, corporate fraud, director’s misfeasance, proprietary claims and contractual disputes, among others.
In addition to this, Beth has a niche practice in the area of property fraud, acting for victims of scams who have lost their money or had their property illegally taken from them. Beth’s notable cases include Purrunsing v A’Court & Co and House Owners Conveyancers Ltd [2016] EWHC 789 (Ch) in which she acted for the successful claimant who recovered 100% of the money he lost through property fraud. Beth acted for another successful applicant in the 2025 case of Stanislaw Sokolowski v Together Commercial Finance Ltd & Oths in the First Tier Land Tribunal in which Beth’s client successfully restored his ownership of a stolen property. Beth’s cases in this area have gained public interest and have been reported in The Times and Sunday Times, among other publications.
Beth also acts for victims of failed investment schemes and has acted for several large groups of claimants seeking compensation.
Beth is ranked in the Legal500 as a Next Generation Partner in Contentious Trusts and Probate. Beth acted in the notable case Re Hosein Deceased: Wedgwood v Hosein & Another [2024] EWHC 1836 (Ch) which concerned the scope of Beddoe relief in an insolvent estate.
