Event overview
This half day training conference, taking place in the afternoon, will look at the practical, clinical and legal issues that often arise in traumatic brain injury cases, with a particular focus on rehabilitation and the role of effective case management. The event will bring together perspectives from neuropsychology, case management and the law, which will be relevant to case managers who work closely with clients who have sustained traumatic brain injuries.
Each speaker presents their unique insights on the challenges, realities and best approaches to supporting people following serious brain injury.
Meet our speakers
- Dr Mark Holloway – An experienced case manager who will discuss the practical side of coordinating rehabilitation and supporting clients with complex needs. Dr Holloway will also be joined by a client, offering a personal perspective on rehabilitation.
- Mr Daniel Friedland – Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist with extensive experience treating patients with brain injuries and acting as a medico-legal expert.
- Christopher Stephenson – Barrister specialising in serious injury work, including traumatic brain injury claims, with insight into the legal and evidential issues that often arise in these cases.
