About Tom Dickinson

My role is to help shoulder that burden and to guide my clients through a very difficult time in their lives, whilst trying to achieve the best possible outcome.  I am committed to finding practical solutions that resolve matters cost effectively.”

Based in our London Bridge office, Tom joined Anthony Gold as a trainee in September 2015 and qualified as a solicitor into the firm’s Civil Litigation team in September 2017.  He was promoted to Partner in April 2024.

Tom now specialises in contentious trust and probate litigation and has a broad caseload which includes: will disputes, trust disputes, disputes involving Personal Representatives and trustees and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975.  He has experience acting for vulnerable individuals and regularly undertakes work on behalf of the Official Solicitor.

Tom is excellent with clients and will work hard to ensure that they understand every stage of the legal process. He is pragmatic and will work tirelessly to achieve the best possible result for his clients.

Tom has been recognised as a “Key Lawyer” in this area by the Legal 500 in every edition since 2020.  He was ranked as a “Rising Star” by the Legal 500 in 2023.   He is described as “an excellent communicator with a superb grasp of the law.

In 2020 he completed the ACTAPS (Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) diploma, the leading accreditation in this field.   He is a member of ConTrA (Contentious Trust Association) and a committee member of the South London Law Society.

Outside of work, Tom is a keen runner and enjoys playing football.
