Wills Week: Has Covid-19 changed how we operate?
This week at Anthony Gold is Wills week, the aim of the week is to bring to light the importance of ensuring that your wishes are formally recorded and your loved ones are taken care of.
This is how the week is structured:
Monday – Has Covid-19 changed the way we operate?
Tuesday – Making a Will in the coronavirus pandemic
Wednesday – Why should I have a Will?
Thursday – Why should I instruct a solicitor to prepare my Will?
Friday – How often should my Will be reviewed?
In today’s video Umar Shaikh, Solicitor at Anthony Gold discusses how Covid-19 has changed the way we operate.
We have adapted to make sure that we are continuing to be able to offer our clients an excellent service. Of course, things have changed substantially in these strange and unprecedented times, but we are still working normal hours and are still taking instructions from clients who want us to prepare their Wills.
Instead of face to face meetings, we are now using video conferencing to take instructions from our clients as much as possible. Many clients have found this more convenient than meeting in person.
Instead of using postal correspondence, we have opted to communicate with our clients by email as much as possible to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus and to ensure that we can support our clients swiftly and efficiently.
We thought it would be useful to address a few commonly asked questions regarding Wills in a series of videos for Wills Week. We hope you find these helpful.
