The firm was set up by Tony Gold in 1963 with a staff of two. Tony had first honed his newly-qualified legal skills during National Service when he was approached by people of all ranks for advice and representation. He always wanted to help. That remains our aim today. More than sixty years later the firm has grown by specialising in diverse areas of the law, including personal injury, family, housing, commercial and employment.

There are currently  31  partners in Anthony Gold, experts in their fields, recognised as outstanding individuals in the legal world by Chambers, The Legal 500 and their peers. The firm is based in two London locations.

The head of the firm is David Marshall who trained under Tony Gold in the 1980s and became managing partner in 1997. David has helped grow Anthony Gold organically and by recruiting valued individuals and firms to join the practice. In doing so Anthony Gold’s reputation has grown deeper and broader while adhering to the principles that have always run through the firm.

In November 2020, Anthony Gold Solicitors was incorporated as a limited liability partnership under the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000.
