Our responsible business programme focuses on supporting our local communities and national organisations aligned with the work we do.
If you would like any further information on our responsible business programme, please contact partners Sarah Hughes or Fiona Lyon.
We run a charity of the year programme every 2 years.
Charity Begins at Home is our current charity of the year and is based in London. The concept began in 2016 and every Friday since the charity has provided food, clothes, life essentials, and support to people in need in the UK, particularly those who are homeless and surviving on the street, with the help of over 10,000 individual volunteers and corporate partnerships such as ours.
Alongside our charity of the year programme we encourage and support our staff in a range of other fundraising activities aligned with the firm’s core beliefs and values, including annual events for the London Legal Support Trust, and make in kind donations providing charities with items they need most.
We sit on the Team London Bridge Board supporting investment into the community and infrastructure of the London Borough of Southwark.
We offer up to 2 days paid annual volunteer leave for every staff member.
We also offer pro-bono work, where no other funding is available, on a case-by-case basis. Our pro-bono work includes being a member of Law Works and their Not for Profit programme, and volunteering at local advice centres and national organisations, including Age UK, Families Need Fathers, and the National Centre for Domestic Violence (NCDV).
