Rooshan is a Senior Paralegal in the Housing Department and assists Anthony Gold Partners Sarah Cummins and Robin Stewart and Associate Solicitor Nikki Basin based in our London Bridge Office.
She assists on a range of cases in residential landlord and tenant disputes including complex possession claims.
She also provides assistance in cases involving Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) including property licensing and management and Rent Repayment Order (RRO) claims.
In her time at Anthony Gold, she has also provided assistance in group action claims concerning defective premises.
Rooshan was called to the Bar of England and Wales by The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2021 after having successfully completed the LLM Legal Practice (Bar) Course from BPP University.
Prior to this, she completed her Bachelor of Laws from SOAS, University of London with 1st Class Honours in 2020.
Before joining Anthony Gold, Rooshan worked for two national Legal 500 firms gaining experience in housing law in cases involving housing disrepair, judicial review, homelessness and suitability reviews and defending possession proceedings and in personal immigration law where her work included but was not limited to representing clients in case management review hearings in the First-Tier Tribunal (IAC).
