Nikki is an Associate Solicitor in Anthony Gold’s Housing and Property Disputes team. She has a broad range of experience having acted for landlords, tenants and agents. She specialises in property litigation including residential possession claims, deposit protection claims, breach of contract, disrepair, new build claims, co-ownership disputes, claims under Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act (TOLATA) 1996 and professional negligence claims. She also assists with drafting and reviewing tenancy agreements/terms of business for landlords and letting agents.
Nikki also provides advice on a variety of regulatory matters concerning HMOs, licensing, civil penalties, rent repayment orders and local authority enforcement notices under the Housing Act 2004
Prior to joining Anthony Gold Solicitors, Nikki worked for a Local Authority advising clients on service charge recovery, possession matters and other property disputes. Nikki joined Anthony Gold Solicitors as a paralegal and completed her training contract at the firm. During her training contract, Nikki completed her first seat in the Housing team managing her own caseload of disrepair matters, homelessness and suitability reviews, judicial reviews and defending possession proceedings. She then went on to complete her second seat in our commercial and civil litigation department assisting on contentious probate matters, trust disputes, Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 claims, professional negligence claims, employment settlement agreements, breach of contract and debt recovery matters.
Nikki understands that each client’s needs are different, and she tailors her advice to suit individual needs. She finds her work extremely rewarding and when disputes are successfully resolved she feels she is making a real difference to her clients’ lives.
