(COP) Conversations Podcast: Mental Health Awareness

Anthony Gold Solicitors are delighted to announce that the second episode of our Court of Protection Conversations series is now live.

On Thursday 3rd December 2020, the “COP Conversations: Mental Health Awareness” podcast episode went live. Host, Partner and joint Head of Court of Protection, Alexandra Knipe was joined by guest speaker Iveta Parravani. The episode sees Alexandra and Iveta explore the topic of mental health, touching on issues of; stigma, the pressures of social media, the impact of COVID-19 and how to help someone or get help when experiencing mental health issues.

As an Adult & Youth MHFA Accredited Instructor and Trainee Counsellor, Parravani provides insight into mental health issues, outlining key organizations that can help when someone struggles from mental ill health and also provides a very personal account of her own struggles with mental ill health.

Reflecting on the podcast, Parravani said: “I was delighted to be invited to take part in this podcast. It’s great to see that Anthony Gold is being proactive and working hard on not just raising the awareness of mental health but also breaking down the stigma around mental ill health. An amazing way to show care for their clients and society.”
With the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, which has taking a huge toll on our mental health and wellbeing and is likely to continue to have lasting effects long after, this conversation is vital for the well-being of vulnerable Court of Protection clients and their families.
