About Jenny Evans

“My job is to help people solve their housing problems. Nothing is more important than your home; it is a space in which you should feel safe and trouble free.”

Jenny Evans is a solicitor in the housing department and is based in our South London offices at London Bridge.

Jenny has been part of the Anthony Gold team for over a decade.  Her day to day practice involves advising and representing tenants on possession claims, disrepair, defective new build homes, disputes between leaseholders and freeholders and the prosecution of criminal cases dealing with housing conditions. Jenny has particular expertise in complex disrepair, including acting in group actions. She has led a multi-party action on behalf of 26 tenants against their housing association landlord and, as mentioned in the Legal 500, she has carried out work on behalf of several survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire in the ongoing inquiry. Jenny was recommended as a key lawyer by Legal 500 2021

Jenny spent part of her training working within the personal injury team.  This experience helped her to understand the devastating health impacts poor housing can have on families, especially on the elderly and children. She represents clients who have suffered injury or illnesses, such as asthma, as a result of the conditions in their homes.

Jenny’s clients can expect her to use the law to push boundaries and achieve excellent results.  She cares deeply that her clients understand the legal process and feel confident in the actions they take.  Jenny relishes tricky cases and refuses to give up.  Clients can trust she will tenaciously fight for them, so they receive the justice and results they deserve.
