Alina Shevchenko is a Paralegal in the Court of Protection department based in the London Bridge office. She joined Anthony Gold in August 2023 and assists the team with Property and Affairs Deputyship matters.

Alina completed her Bachelor’s degree in law at Newcastle University, then the Legal Practice Course alongside her Master’s in law at BPP University.

Alina has previous experience of assisting fee earners with Health and Welfare matters, which includes Deprivation of Liberty challenges raised under the Mental Capacity Act, Irish Wardships and Community Care cases.

Alina regularly liaises with vulnerable individuals and their families, the Official Solicitor, as well as representatives from local authorities, ICBs and NHS Trusts, when helping to progress matters in the best interests of our clients.
