House of Lords debate refers to Anthony Golds advice
Yesterday during a Housing & Planning Bill debate in the House of Lords, the Lords debated an amendment to require houses to be “fit for habitation.”
Giles Peaker, a Partner within our Housing team, has been pressing for changes to tenancy agreements to include a ‘fitness for habitation’ clause. His briefings were referred to widely during the Lords debate.
