Early Careers
Trainee Solicitors
All our trainees currently do one 12-month seat in Injury and Medical claims and the other 12-month seat in Housing, Family, Commercial or Private Client. On occasions there are opportunities to complete two years in one department or two seats in different departments during the two-year period.
Paralegals
We have many paralegals in most of our departments and we encourage them to develop their skills by attending internal and external training. We have regular lunch and learns on a monthly basis when they can all meet up and we encourage them to participate in our Responsible Business, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion committee, Employee Forum, Mental Health Champions and other activities within the firm. Many of our paralegals have gone on to become trainee solicitors and then solicitors or have chosen to take CILEX instead.
Work Experience
We have limited opportunities for this at the moment, but we are looking to expand this out in 2024 – 2025.
