Anthony Gold Solicitors welcome Helen Whittam as a new Support and Rehabilitation Coordinator in the Injury and Medical Claims Team

Anthony Gold is delighted to announce that Helen Whittam has joined the firm as a Support and Rehabilitation Coordinator in the firm’s specialist Injury and Medical Claims (IMC) Team, led by Jackie Spinks and based out of the London Bridge office.
Helen brings over 20 years of experience as a senior physiotherapist and clinical leader, having worked across the NHS, local authorities, independent clinical services, and the private sector. Throughout her career, she has consistently specialised in reablement, rehabilitation, hospital discharge planning, and service transformation, areas that align closely with the needs of our clients who are navigating complex injury and medical claims.
Helen’s arrival strengthens the IMC team’s ability to provide bespoke, holistic support to clients on their rehabilitation pathways following injury or medical trauma. Her knowledge and dynamic, evidence-based approach will further enhance our commitment to delivering compassionate client care.
Helen holds a postgraduate diploma in musculoskeletal medicine and has been very successful in leading multidisciplinary teams, commissioning innovative care pathways, and driving strategic service improvements in line with CQC, Care Act, and HCPC standards. Her work has consistently resulted in measurable outcomes, including reduced hospital readmissions, cost efficiencies, and enhanced patient outcomes.
Her passion for person-centred care is reflected in her career-long focus on delivering safe and compassionate services that place the individual at the heart of every decision. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Helen is a committed volunteer, actively supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH), the British Heart Foundation (BHF), and the Parkinson’s Disease Society.
Head of Department, Jackie Spinks, said:
“Anthony Gold’s Injury and Medical Claims team is highly regarded for our commitment to rehabilitation for our clients. We are therefore delighted to have Helen as part of the team, who will, with her considerable experience, enhance the commitment we give to our clients to support them as best we can on their rehabilitation pathways.”
