Robyn joined Anthony Gold in March 2021 where she was a paralegal in the Court of Protection team until commencing her Training Contract in September 2023. Her first seat was in Injury and Medical Claims assisting Jackie Spinks and Dr James Piers on catastrophic, high value personal injury and medical negligence cases.
Robyn joined the Family & Relationships team in September 2024 and assists heads of department and partners, Kim Beatson, Loraine Davenport and Victoria Rylatt on a number of complex children and financial matters.
Robyn’s previous roles in the Court of Protection and Injury and Medical Claims teams, allowed her cross-exposure to family law matters where a client’s capacity to marry was scrutinised, a client’s capacity to consent to a pre-nuptial agreement was in question, and where a client who lacked capacity was involved in child arrangement proceedings. Robyn has a significant interest in the crossover between family law and capacity-related issues.
Robyn attained her LLB at the University of Reading, Thereafter, Robyn completed the Legal Practice Course alongside a Masters in Law to a distinction level.
Robyn is dedicated to helping vulnerable individuals. This can be seen through her previous experience volunteering at the National Centre for Domestic Violence, which included providing pro bono advice and acting as a Mckenzie friend in court, and her past fundraising activities for Macmillian Cancer.
