Robin is a Partner at Anthony Gold. He specialises in property litigation, especially landlord and tenant disputes, and the regulatory law relating to HMOs and other rented property.
He is based in our South London offices at London Bridge.
Robin’s practise involves acting for landlords, tenants, property professionals, homeowners and businesses. He enjoys using specialist expertise to help a wide range of clients; he believes that it is vital that every client has access to quality advice and, when necessary, a robust advocate.
He is recognised an expert on residential landlord and tenant law. Robin delivers training on housing litigation to other lawyers, letting agents, and local authority officers. He is a member of the advisory panel of the Property Redress Scheme and is a member of the steering group of the National HMO Network. He is recommended in the Legal 500 directory for property litigation, and has acted in several high profile cases relating to the Housing Act 2004 and the Housing and Planning Act 2016.
In addition to property litigation in the civil courts, Robin often acts in tribunal applications, including cases relating to improvement notices, rent repayment orders, and financial penalties. He also acts for businesses, company directors and private landlords in regulatory cases in the criminal courts, often in cases relating to HMOs and property standards. He is compassionate, non-judgemental, and focused on getting results for his clients.
Robin also advises property agents and institutional on consumer law and trading standards and advises property professionals with updating their terms of business and tenancy agreements. He provides training, document drafting services and legal advice to property businesses of all sizes.
